i think what causes the gap is poor teaching of the teachers and students not trying their best in school it is also sometimes the parents not interested in their childs education

a.students should focus more on school than in gangs, friends, etc.
b.they should always ask for help if they dont understand something

a.help their children
b.inspire their children to learn
c.think about their childrens future and take them the right way to a good future by helping them

a.higher expectations on students
